Patients who live in San Juan County or on Guemes Island can receive free round-trip taxi service from the ferry terminal (Anacortes or Guemes) or the Anacortes Airport when obtaining medical services from Island Health, an Island Health-operated clinic, or outpatient service.

If you wish to use this service, please call Mert’s Taxi the day prior to your appointment. When scheduling your appointment, please specify where you would like to be met: Anacortes or Guemes ferry terminal or Anacortes Airport.

NOTE: The following medical services are not directly affiliated with Island Health and are NOT eligible for free taxi service:
