Island Health offers virtual visits for primary and specialty care services. Our virtual visits—formerly called telemedicine—are now launched from within the myIslandHealth patient portal, making connecting with your provider even easier.
What Is a Virtual Visit?
A virtual visit is a medical appointment conducted online through a secure video chat. Patients with a smartphone, tablet or computer, and internet access can request a virtual visit.

How do I schedule a virtual visit with my provider?
Please call your provider’s office directly to schedule a virtual visit. Primary care patients can call 360.293.3101.
You will receive an email after you make your appointment inviting you to pre-register on your portal. You will join your appointment at your scheduled time from your portal.
What is the cost of a virtual visit?
A virtual visit costs the same amount as an in-person visit.
